ABC is the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's television station in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. The station began broadcasting on 18 December 1962 and broadcasts from studios in Dickson. Its main transmitter is at Black Mountain.

Local programming

ABC News Canberra is presented by Dan Bourchier on weeknights and Craig Allen on weekends. The weeknight bulletins incorporate a national finance section presented by Alan Kohler in Melbourne.

A new studio set was introduced in mid-2014 to match the rest of the ABC News network.

The weekly current affairs program, 7.30 ACT was presented by Chris Kimball until its cancellation in 2014.[1]
