Adhi Kot is a village and one of the 51 Union Councils (administrative subdivisions) of Khushab District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan.[1] It is located at 32°6'13N 71°48'24E with an altitude of 177 metres (583 feet).[2]

Adhi kot Politics In Adhi Kot,Politics system is Wadera System .The Baghoor Bradri and Tiwana Bradri Are At opposite level.Baghoor Bradri (Eng.Gul Asghar KHan) is fighting against Jageer Darana System while Tiwana Bradri is going to make that old system stable.Gul Asghar Khan was supporting PTI since 29-06-2018 but when Imran Khan Selected Ahsan Ullah Tiwana As MNA candidate From Khushab ,Gul asghar Khan Left the Party and Started as free Candidate.He refused to support PTI because imran khan Changed His vision of Democracy. Thal FilM Makers There Is small group of Film Makers in Adhi Kot .The Thal Film Makers firstly Released their Jungli Series which was showing minor culture of that area in extreme way.But It was Filmed very Nicely and Got Fame in Thesil Noor Pur Thal.The Film was Directed and Sponsored By Kashif Farooq and Also he was working as an actor.Now Their Upcoming Movie is Coming Soon.

History

The area is notable for the Adhi Kot meteorite which landed on 1 May 1919.[3][4] The meteorite, known as the Adhi Kot stone, fell at 32°16′N 71°49′E / 32.267°N 71.817°E / 32.267; 71.817 at 12PM, 15 miles (24 km) north of station Nurpur, Shahpur District (the area was part of the old Shahpur District during British Rule).[5]
