Aegon Nottingham Challenge

The Aegon Nottingham Challenge is an annual tennis tournament played in Nottingham, England. The tournament is currently part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Women's Circuit. The women's event is being upgraded to an International-level event on the WTA Tour.

Location

The tournament is held annually at the Nottingham Tennis Centre[1] within the University Park area of Nottingham.

History

The women's event was initially a ITF Women's Circuit $50,000 event until 2014, but it is upgraded to an International-level event on the WTA Tour, starting from the 2015 season.
