In 2009, [[MTV]] announced a new reality series, titled [[Jersey Shore (TV series)|Jersey Shore]]. The show was set to follow the lives of 8 Italian men and women, as they spend their summer at the [[Jersey Shore]]. She was 21 years old when she auditioned and she's the youngest cast member besides Vinny who is 20 years of age. The series premiere saw Pivarnick arriving in the house with her clothing in trash bags, which her fellow housemates as well as the public found "trashy". Immediately, Pivarnick was met with hostility by her fellow housemates, with the exception of Mike, Pauly D and Ron. Angelina Pivarnick (born May 23, 1988) rose to fame in 2009 when she was one of eight people to become a cast member on the MTV reality series Jersey Shore.[1] Originally from Staten Island, New York, her appearances on the show were met with controversy, as Pivarnick left early in both seasons 1 and 2.[2] Due to this fact, Pivarnick was not included on the third season of the series, and was replaced by Deena Cortese.[3]
After Jersey Shore, Pivarnick began recording music. Her debut single, "I'm Hot", featured Andy Stein as producer as well as on vocals, and was initially leaked on November 12, 2010.[4][5][6] The 52 second snippet of the song broke a record the only unreleased song in history to reach the top ten on radio charts in less than 24 hours. The song was met with negative reception, with many critics commenting on Pivarnick's rapping in the song. She is rumoured to be signed with TNA Wrestling, on a deal that will see her appear in the ring twice, the first was on March 3rd in a six woman tag match with Sarita and Cookie against Velvet Sky, Angelina Love and Winter.

After Pivarnick left the show, she announced interest in releasing music,"I think I have a good voice," she said. "I've been testing it out with this producer I know, and I actually rap really good too. You would never expect it I know, but I'm actually really good at it."[2] A single was initially set for release on October 16, 2010, but due to negotiational issues, it never appeared. A snippet of the song, titled "I'm Hot", leaked online on November 12, 2010.[7] The 52 second leak was Angelina's rap verse, and broke a radio record, for being the first ever unreleased song to enter the Top 10 most played charts. Shortly after the leak, it was announced the single's release had been cancelled all together. Producer Andy Stein, who also provides guest vocals on the song, stated that " I agreed to give Angelina exactly what she wanted during negotiations, but she is being completely unreasonable and because of that I have decided to no longer pursue any business arrangement with her [...] It has nothing to do with the leak. It would have been great for everyone if we were able to come to reasonable terms, however, reasonable terms seem to be an impossibility when it comes to doing business with Angelina." Despite these comments, Pivarnick announced the singles release date to be November 18, 2010. The single was officially released in its entirety on iTunes on November 18, 2010.[8] Stein and Pivarnick held a release party in order to promote the single.[9]
"I'm Hot" was met with a nearly unanimous negative reception. Angelina has since stated the song was just for fun, and wasn't meant to be taken seriously. She has also announced a second single, which is currenly pending release. When asked about the song, Pivarnick stated "To be honest with you, it's really good. 'I'm Hot' was not even nearly as good as this song. This song is definitely something you can hear in the club. And it's me singing, not just rapping. As a matter of fact, I'm singing in it all the way. I'm not even rapping in it all." [10]
Aside from her music career, Pivarnick has taken to the wrestling ring, and has signed a contract with TNA Wrestling.[11][12] It was later announced that the contract signed Pivarnick on for only two episodes, which aired on March 3, and March 10 of 2011. Angelina teamed with both members of ‘The Shore’, Cookie and Robbie E in a six person tag match, and rumors state that Pivarnick has challenged ex Jersey Shore co-star, JWoWW to a match.[13][14] Internet blogger Perez Hilton has also stated that Pivarnick is in talks to be cast in an upcoming film, titled Every Time I Go To Staten Island Something Bad Happens. The plot revolves around "a Latino former gang member who starts his life again in art school, as he tries to stop his brother from working with criminals."[15]
