Anxhela Peristeri (Albanian pronunciation: [andʒɛla pɛɾistɛɾi]; born 24 March 1986), also known mononymously as Anxhela, is an Albanian singer.[1]

Career

In December 2001, Peristeri unsuccessfully participated in Festivali i Këngës with the song "Vetëm ty të kam".[1] In December 2017, she won the 19th edition of Kënga Magjike.[2] In December 2019, she competed in the 21st edition with the song "Dikush i imi" and eventually finished in the third place.[3] In October 2020, the broadcaster, Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH), announced Peristeri as one of the twenty-six contestants selected to compete in the 59th edition of Festivali i Këngës with the song "Karma".[4]
