Asociación Deportiva Tarma (ADT) is a Peruvian association football club, playing in the city of Tarma.

The club was founded on 18 June 1929, and plays in the Copa Perú which is the third division of the Peruvian league.

History

The club was 1979 Copa Perú champion, when defeated Comercial Aguas Verdes, Defensor Lima, Deportivo Garcilaso, and Universidad Técnica de Cajamarca.

The club have played at the highest level of Peruvian football on twelve occasions, from 1980 Torneo Descentralizado until 1991 Torneo Descentralizado when was relegated.

In the 2010 Copa Perú, the club classified to the National Stage, when defeated Alianza Universidad and Unión Minas in the Region V's group A; but was eliminated by Alianza Unicachi of Puno in the semifinals.

In the 2011 Copa Perú, the club classified to the National Stage, but was eliminated by Alianza Universidad in the quarterfinals.

Rivalries

Asociación Deportiva Tarma has had a long-standing rivalry with Sport Dos de Mayo.
