Bahadurpur (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is an assembly constituency in Darbhanga district in the Indian state of Bihar.

Overview

As per Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies Order, 2008, No. 85 Bahadurpur (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is composed of the following: Bahadurpur and Hanuman Nagar community development blocks.[1]

Bahadurpur (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is part of No. 14 Darbhanga (Lok Sabha constituency).[1]

2010 to 2015

In the 2015, Bhola Yadav of RJD won the Bahadurpur assembly seat, defeating his nearest rival, Hari Sahni of BJP. In the 2010 state assembly elections, Madan Sahni of JD(U) won the newly created Bahadurpur assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Harinandan Yadav of RJD. [2]
