Brantford Galaxy Soccer Club is a Canadian soccer club based in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, The club competes in the Canadian Soccer League, a league not sanctioned by a FIFA-recognized body..

History

Brantford Galaxy SC was announced as an expansion side in the Canadian Soccer League's 2010 season on February 24, 2010.[1] The club will be playing its home games at Lions Park.[2]

On October 31, 2010 Brantford Galaxy SC won their first championship in their inaugural season with a 3-0 win over Hamilton Croatia in the 2010 CSL Championship Final at the Centennial Park Stadium in Etobicoke.[3] The team had finished 7th of the 13 teams in the regular season.

The Brantford Inter-City Soccer club announced that it will change its name to the Brantford Galaxy Youth Soccer Club in an effort further align it with the CSL club.[4]


Club folded operations after the 2012 season before resuming in 2015. In 2015 Brantford Galaxy failed to qualify for the playoffs, losing 4-3 in its final game to Milton SC. The club finished 7-12-3 for the season.
