Buzz! Junior: Jungle Party is the first game in the Buzz! Junior series of party games. Jungle Party comprises forty different mini-games (twenty-five in the US version). Many of these mini-games require little knowledge or skill, so that they are more suited to younger children than the normal Buzz! quiz games, although they can also be enjoyed by older children or even adults. Cohort Studios developed a PlayStation 3 version where the player can use a Dualshock wireless controller for the 1st time.

In November 2007, Buzz! Junior: Jungle Party won a British Academy Children's Award BAFTA for best Children's videogame.[3]

A PSP version of the game was released in November 2010.[2]

The game was rated 3+ in Europe, but was rated E10+ in North America for Crude Humor and Mild Cartoon Violence.

Gameplay

Up to 4 people can play Jungle Party. Each player has their own coloured monkey, either blue, orange, green or yellow, and controls them using a Buzz! controller. The voice-over (Liz Barker) introduces the games, describes how to play them and comments on the results (taking the place of both Buzz and Rose in the quiz version). Some games simply use just the Buzz! button, while others use the four coloured buttons.

In addition there is a single player mode which features specially customised versions of the multi-player games.
