CFRI-FM is a Canadian radio station broadcasting at 104.7 FM in Grande Prairie, Alberta owned by Vista Radio. The station broadcasts a contemporary hit radio format using its on-air brand name 104.7 2Day FM.

The station began broadcasting on March 30, 2007 with a classic rock format branded as 104.7 Free FM.[1] In July 2014 the station switched to its current format branded as 2Day FM.

104.7 Free FM

It was announced on November 15, 2006, that 3 new stations would begin broadcasting in Grande Prairie. The three were a Hot adult contemporary station, CIKT-FM, which was branded as Q99, CJGY-FM, which was branded as Shine FM 96.3 and later 96.3 Reach FM as a Christian radio station, and CFRI-FM, branded as 104.7 Free FM, to broadcast a Classic rock selection of music. 104.7 Free FM officially came on the air on March 30, 2007.

104.7 2Day FM

After 7 years of being a Classic rock station, 104.7 Free FM announced it would be changing into a contemporary hit radio station titled 104.7 2day FM. On July 14, 2014 at 5:00 PM MST, 104.7 Free FM officially rebranded to 104.7 2day FM, with a party located at the Cineplex Odeon in Grande Prairie.
