According to a recent gazette article, Cabin John Middle School is set to be modernized in the coming years. The next step is to move into the schematic design phase and to develop a formal budget proposal. These will be formally presented to the board for approval in the spring. Students would be transferred to [[Tilden Middle School]], a holding school, in the summer of 2009 – and then back into the newly completed Cabin John Middle School in the summer of 2011.
