So far yester/today User:Bearcat has created this and two sibling categories by nationality, and largely populated them from their parent cat Writers of young adult literature.

No substantial problem that I see yet. WP:YA is nearly inactive but its Talk Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Children's literature#YA writers categories remains a more appropriate place for discussion as far as I am concerned (not member of any Canada project). --P64 (talk) 00:32, 20 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
