Welsh?

[edit]

How are we defining 'Welsh'? Does this include architects that have a strong connection with Wales but born elsewhere? For example, John Nash (currently described as 'British') was born in London but carried out a lot of work in Wales; Percy Thomas was born in northeast England but the practice he set up was based in Cardiff. Whether people identify themselves as 'Welsh' or not has been a contentious debate on a number of other biographical articles and often the least contentious solution is to describe them as British.
