Chintaparthi is a major Panchayathi in Valmikipuram Mandal (previously Vayalpadu Mandal) on the Madanapalle-Tirupathi Highway.

Its major produce is tomatoes. The River Bahuda passes through Chintaparthi. "Guntigangamma Jatara" is celebrated annually. People from nearby villages participate in this fair. Nearby railway stations are in Valmikipuram and Kalikiri.
