Commonwealth XI cricket team in India and Ceylon in 1950–51
Appearance
A Commonwealth XI cricket team toured India and Ceylon from October 1950 to March 1951 and played 27 first-class matches including five against an All-India XI.[1]
Captained by Les Ames, who also kept wicket, the team had several well-known players including Frank Worrell, Sonny Ramadhin, Derek Shackleton, Jack Ikin, Harold Gimblett and George Tribe.
