The Czech Republic and Taiwan (officially the Republic of China) maintain unofficial relations since the recognition of One-China policy of China by Czechoslovakia from 1979. From 1931 until 1949, however, the First Czechoslovak Republic had international relations with Republic of China.

In the absence of official diplomatic relations, the Czech Republic has the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Prague while the ROC has the Czech Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei.
