Debbie Dickinson (born December 30, 1957) is an American actress and fashion model. The youngest of three sisters, Dickinson is of Belarusian and Polish descent. Debbie began modeling in 1975 with Elite Model Management in Paris, France joining her sister, supermodel Janice Dickinson.[3]
Early life
Debbie Dickinson was born on December 30, 1957 in Hollywood, Florida. Dickinson's mother Jennie inspired her to be a model at a young age.[4]
Career
Dickinson's first fashion show was for Louis Féraud in Paris. She also modeled for Versace, Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren, Karl Lagerfeld, and Yves Saint Laurent and graced the cover of Vogue Paris, British Vogue and Mademoiselle.[5] More recently, Dickinson was featured in the documentary Life of a Model.[6] Dickinson moved into the public relations sector after her modeling career ended.[7]
In addition to modeling, Dickinson was also an actress. She appeared in such films as 5up 2down,[8] Fathers & Sons, I Love N.Y. and Deadly Illusion.[9].
