The community of Emirates Hills Third (Al Thanyah Fourth) is arranged around several artificial lakes and large green areas. The main points of reference are:

After a renovation it reopened in October 2020 and is significantly larger than its predecessor, also featuring a large dining terrace that overlooks one of the neighborhood's lakes. Among other things, it houses a branch of the British supermarket Waitrose & Partners and a British Butcher Shop & Deli;[8]

Al Thanyah Fifth
Jumeirah Islands (2007).

Emirates Hills First (Al Thanyah Fifth) community is one of the premier residential communities in Dubai. It is a self-sufficient community, with apartments, villas, shopping centers, hotels, restaurants, parks and entertainment venues. It is divided into the following sub-communities:

  • Jumeirah Islands. The complex is made up of 50 artificial islets, 46 of which are residential clusters housing a total of 736 villas. It was built between 2003 and 2006. The clusters are built according to 6 different architectural styles: European, Islamic, Mediterranean, Oasis, Tropical and Contemporary. In addition to the basic architectural style, the houses can differ in a different construction style. There are in fact three different construction styles called: Garden Hall, Master View and Entertainment Foyer.[10]
  • Jumeirah Heights. This complex, contrary to what its name would suggest, consists of six low-rise buildings, located on two islets immediately north of the Jumeirah Islands, offering two and three bedroom apartments. In this area there are also some terraced villas and a shopping centre, called Jumeirah Islands Pavilion, with cafes and restaurants.[11]
  • Jumeirah Park. Spread over 370 acres, this is a residential community with over 2,000 villas that was built between 2006 and 2013. Single family homes in Jumeirah Park range from 3 to 5 bedroom residences. There are four types of villas in this area named: Legacy, Regional, Legacy Nova and Heritage. The area is located west of the Jumeirah Islands, between them and Garn Al Sabkha Street.[12]
Jumeirah Lakes Towers Park (2014).
  • Jumeirah Lake Towers. The complex, commonly known as JLT, is a sought-after mixed-use community, set around three man-made lakes and a park, located just south of Sheikh Zayed Road. JLT initially had four lakes: Lake Almas West, Lake Almas East, Lake Elucio and Lake Allure. In November 2012, the Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC), the company that was carrying out the project, announced that Lake Elucio would be drained to make way for a 55,000 m2 park. Later Lake Allure was renamed JLT Lake.[13] JLT is made up of 26 clusters, each of which consists of 3 skyscrapers housing apartments, offices, shops and hotels. Each cluster, identified by a letter of the English alphabet, has its own parking area. In the area there are many restaurants with typical cuisine of various nationalities, from Vietnamese to Greek to Indian.[14] JLT is also home to the [ [Almas Tower]], located between Almas West and Almas East lakes, which with its 360 m is one of the tallest buildings in Dubai and the tallest exclusively commercial building in the world.[15]
DMCC Metro Station (formerly known as Lake Towers), 2011.

The area is served by the Red Line of the Metro with the four stops at:

Then there are surface lines that from the aforementioned stops allow you to reach various areas of the community, even if the more internal areas are not well connected.
