Etna is an unincorporated community in Etna-Troy Township, Whitley County, Indiana.[3]

History

Etna was platted in 1849, and named after Etna, Ohio, the native home of a first settler.[4] A post office was established at Etna in 1851, and was discontinued in that same year.[5]
