Fūka (Japanese: 風夏) is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Kouji Seo. It is published by Kodansha, and began serialization on February 12, 2014 on Weekly Shōnen Magazine.[1] It is published online in English by Crunchyroll.[2] An anime television adaption produced by Diomedea will premiere on January 7, 2017.[3][4]

Anime

An anime television series adaptation produced by Diomedea will begin airing on January 7, 2017. The series' opening theme is "Climbers' High!" by Hedgehogs, a musical unit consisting of members of various bands, with Manami Numakura providing vocals.[15] The series' ending theme is "Watashi no Sekai" by Megumi Nakajima.[16]

Reception

Volume 1 reached the 26th place on the weekly Oricon manga charts[17] and, as of May 25, 2014, had sold 64,879 copies;[18] volume 2 reached the 18th place on the chart[6] and, as of July 27, 2014, had sold 73,193 copies;[19] volume 3 reached the 28th place[7] and, as of October 26, 2014, had sold 70,638 copies;[20] volume 4 reached the 20th place and, as of December 21, 2014, had sold 51,164 copies;[8] volume 5 reached the 12th place and, as of February 22, 2015, had sold 62,771 copies;[9] volume 6 reached the 14th place[10] and, as of May 24, 2015, had sold 69,659 copies;[21] volume 7 reached the 17th place[11] and, as of July 26, 2015, had sold 66,456 copies;[22] volume 8 reached the 25th place[12] and, as of October 25, had sold 61,372 copies;[23] volume 9 reached the 25th place and, as of December 20, 2015, had sold 36,105 copies.[13]
