The claim reads (in my paraphrase): "with Gemini 9a's launch, Stafford was ready to launch SIX times, but only actually launching TWO times. The phrasing may suggest a confusion with Stafford's all-time career (the later Apollo 10 and ASTP), ret-conning them with the to-date language in the article, or otherwise was Stafford "strapped in" for other launch attempts of which I am unaware? The crew/launch shakeups are interesting but need clarification. undo
