Hazleton, Missouri
Appearance
Hazleton is an extinct town in Texas County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The GNIS classifies it as a populated place.[1] The village is on the bank of the Big Piney River within the Mark Twain National Forest.[2]
A post office called Hazleton was established in 1890, and remained in operation until 1944.[3] The community has the name of J. Hazleton, proprietor of a local mill.[4]
