Hebrews 5 is the fifth chapter of the Epistle to the Hebrews in the New Testament of the Christian Bible.[1][2] The name of the author is unknown traditionally thought to be a man and a friend of Saint Timothy but "Priscilla's Letter: Finding the Author of the Epistle to the Hebrews" by Ruth Hoppin (2000) argues persuasively for Priscilla to be the author. This would therefore be the only book in the Bible thought to have a female author.[3][4]
