Jade Bornea (born 2 August 1995) is a Filipino professional boxer who competes as a light-flyweight. As an amateur, Bornea represented Philippines at the AIBA Youth World Championships, reaching the Quarter Finals of the light-flyweight bracket.
Personal life
Bornea was born in Cotabato del Norte, but grew up in General Santos.
Amateur career
Bornea's participation at the 2012 AIBA Youth World Championships ended after he lost to Murodjon Akhmadaliev of Uzbekistan, 14-25, in the quarter finals of the light flyweight event.[1]

Professional career
Bornea became a professional boxer last October 11, 2014. He was set to make his professional debut against Alberto Muring at the Davao City Recreation Center (formerly Almendras Gym), Davao City, Davao del Sur at the flyweight division[2]
An International title match (IBF Youth super flyweight title) was scheduled last Feb 26, 2017 and Bornea was pitted against the 22-year old hard hitting Raul Yu of ALA boxing promotions in an undercard match, a part of SanMan promotion's Laban Pinoy 3: Rise of Champions Pro, a Boxing Series set at the Lagao Gym, General Santos City, Cotabato del Sur.[3]
