The Kia EV5 is an upcoming electric SUV for the Chinese market.[1] A concept car previewing the production version was revealed in China on March 20, 2023, at the brand's EV Day event.[2]It is also the third model in the manufacturer's "EV" electric car range after the EV6 and EV9.

The model was designed using Kia's 'Opposites United' design language,[3] also featuring a new version of the brand's trademark 'Digital Tiger Face', incorporating a new lighting signature.[4]

The concept uses sustainable materials throughout the interior,[5] including plant-based materials such as seaweed extract and recycled plastic bottles used on the seat trim, headliner and door and dashboard linings.[6]
