Kodoku no Gourmet (孤独のグルメ, Kodoku no Gurume, "Solitary Gourmet") is a Japanese cuisine seinen manga series written by Masayuki Qusumi[1] and illustrated by Jiro Taniguchi.[2] It has been adapted into a Japanese television drama series[3][4][5] and a Chinese web series (simplified Chinese: 孤独的美食家 中国版; traditional Chinese: 孤獨的美食家 中國版; pinyin: Gūdú dì měishíjiā zhōngguó bǎn).[6] A 10-episode original net animation adaptation premiered on the Production I.G's Tate Anime app on November 29, 2017[7].

Plot

As salesman Gorō Inogashira travels Japan, he visits various restaurants and street booths to sample the local cuisine. Each chapter features a different place and dish.
