Manuela Brečko (born 31 January 1989), better known as ManuElla, is a Slovenian singer and songwriter. She represented Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "Blue and Red".[2]

Life and career

Manuela was born in Celje, present day Slovenia. At the age of 16, she performed in the second season of Bitke talentov. In 2011, Brečko competed in Misija Evrovizija, and placed in the Top Four.

She was announced as one of the ten competing artists in EMA 2016 on 5 January 2016 with the song "Blue and Red".[3] In the final held on 27 February, she was declared the winner.[2] Brečko represented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 performing during the second semi-final held on May 12, 2016, but failed to qualify to the May 14 final.
