Marie-Louise O'Donnell (born 5 September 1952) is an Irish broadcaster and politician.[1]

From Foxford, County Mayo, she is a lecturer in communications at Dublin City University (DCU). A former actor and theatre administrator she was involved in the setting up of The Helix theatre on the DCU campus.

She has frequently appeared as a panellist on Tonight with Vincent Browne on TV3, and as a reporter on the Pat Kenny Show on RTÉ Radio 1.

In May 2011, she was nominated by the Taoiseach Enda Kenny to the 24th Seanad,[2][3] and was nominated to the 25th Seanad in May 2016.[4]
