Michael Harty (Born 1952) is an Irish independent politician, and Teachta Dála (TD) for the Clare constituency. He was elected at his first attempt in 2016 general election.

He is a general practitioner based in Kilmihil, County Clare, and campaigned on a 'No Doctor No Village' platform to reverse the decline in the income of rural GPs.[1]
