Nisporeni (Romanian pronunciation: [nispoˈrenʲ]; Template:Lang-ru) is a city located in the central part of Moldova. It has 20,000 inhabitants. The city is administrative center of the Nisporeni District.
Demographics
Most of the population (98%) are Moldovans/Romanians.[1]
History
The first historical appearance was in 1618.
The Romanian People's Salvation Cross, the largest cross in Moldova, was built in 2011 in Nisporeni.[2][3]
