Park Seo-joon (born Park Yong-Gyu on December 16, 1988) is a South Korean actor.
Early life and education
Park was born in December 16, 1988 in Seoul as the oldest of three brothers.[1] After graduating from An-Nam high school, he attended Seoul Institute of the Arts and enlisted for mandatory military service in 2008.
Career
Park made his entertainment debut in 2011 by appearing in the music video of Bang Yong-guk's single "I Remember."[2] He has then appeared in television dramas Dream High 2 (2012), Pots of Gold (2013),[3][4][5] and Witch's Romance (2014). From October 2013 to April 2015, he became the host of Music Bank.[6][7]
His breakout role came in 2015 as the male lead of the television series She was Pretty.[8][9][10] In the same year, Park starred in thriller film The Chronicles of Evil.
In 2016, Park is cast in youth historical drama Hwarang: The Beginning.[11] He is also cast in his first big-screen leading role in Youth Cop.
