Ramsey Route 17 is one of two New Jersey Transit rail stations in Ramsey, New Jersey served by the Main and Bergen County Lines, as well as select trains on the Port Jervis Line. The station opened on August 22, 2004. The rail station is adjacent to NJ 17, allowing motorists to drive straight to the station from the highway.
There is a 5-level parking deck at the station which has over 1,000 spaces. Out of area people find it convenient to park here for weeks at a time for $2 a day and take the train into New York City or to Newark Liberty International Airport.
