Rekha filmography
Rekha is an Indian actress, acknowledged as one of the finest of Indian cinema.[1] She made her debut with the 1966 Telugu film Rangula Ratnam as a child actress. She debuted as a heroine in the successful Kannada film Operation Jackpot Nalli C.I.D 999 with Rajkumar in 1969. In that same year, she starred in her first Hindi film, Anjana Safar, which was postponed due to censorship problems and released eight years later under a different title.[2] Her first release was Sawan Bhadon. In the early 70s, Rekha starred in films including Raampur Ka Lakshman (1972), Kahani Kismat Ki (1973), and Pran Jaye Par Vachan Na Jaye (1974). Her breakthrough came in 1976 with Do Anjaane, in which she played a greedy and ambitious wife. The film was commercially and critically successful. From her first film in 1966, Rekha has been part of over 180 projects, in a career of almost 45 years.
