Staff
The Headteacher at Sheffield Park Academy is Mr C Dillon. He is supported by a Senior Leadership team consisting of Mrs S Szafraniec, Mr A Anderson (Deputy Headteachers), Mrs C Bailey and Mrs T Di'Iasio (Assistant Headteachers). The Academy is housed in a purpose built £30 million building, which opened in 2008.
Academic achievements
After a visit from Ofsted inspectors in June 2013, the Academy was given a "good" grading in all 4 aspects of the inspection framework.
In 2014 the Academy achieved GCSE outcomes which were significantly above the national average with 65% of students achieving 5 or more A* to C passed including English and Maths (national average 55%). 92% of students made at least 3 levels of progress in English (national percentile rank 1, highest percentage of all Sheffield Schools) and 72% made at least 3 levels of progress in Maths (national average 65%).
