This is a list of Sheriffs of Anglesey. Following the conquest of Wales by Edward I Anglesey was created a county of Wales under the terms of the Statute of Rhuddlan of 1284.[1]

On 1 April 1974, under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1972 it became a district of the new large county of Gwynedd, until in the 1996 reform of local government, when it was restored as a local government county but remaining in the Shrievalty of Gwynedd.
