Shree Somnath Sanskrit University (SSSU) is located in Veraval, Gir Somnath district, Gujarat. It was established by the Gujarat government by passing the Shree Somnath Sanskrit University Act, 2005.[1][2][3]

Sanskrit scholar Dr.Gopabandhu Mishra is currently serving as the Vice Chancellor of the University.
