Staple is a commune in the Nord department in the region of Nord-Pas-de-Calais in northern France.
There is a separate commune named Étaples.

The arms of Staple are blazoned : Ermine, a fess gules. (Sainte-Marie-Cappel and Staple use the same arms.)
