Biography

Surabhi Lakshmi (Malayalam: സുരഭി ലക്ഷ്മി) is an Indian movie and television actor in Malayalam language. She has acted in more than twenty Malayalam films and two television serials.[2]

Career

Surabhi came in to limelight after winning the reality show " Best Actor" in Amritha TV.[3] After that, she has acted in films like Thirakkatha, Pakal Nakshatrangal, Gulmohar, Puthiya Mukham, Katha Thudarunnu, Shankaranum Mohananum, Kancheepurathe Kalyanam, Ivan Megharoopan, Ayalum Njanum Thammil, Thalsamayam Oru Penkutty, Banking Hours 10 to 4, Housefull, Black Butterfly, Ezhu Sundara Rathrikal, The Train, Swapna Sanchari, Njanum Ente Familiyum, Namukku Parkkan, Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram,On The Way,Vasanthathinte Kanalvazhikal,Vidhooshakan,Love Land etc. She has also handled a major role in the television serial Kadhayile Rajakumari directed by K. K. Rajeev. Currently She handles a main role in a television serial M80 Moosa on Media One.She has acted in many advertisements also.

Surabhi's first love is for theatre arts. Suvarna Theatre's play called ‘Yakshikathakalum Naattuvarthamanangalum' won Kerala Sahitya Nataka Academy's best actress award in 2010. She has also won Best Actress award in Abudhabi Theatre Fest.[4]


Extra works

Surabhi passed BA in Bharathanatyam with first rank from Kaladi Sree Sankaracharya College. She has also done in MA in Theatre Arts. She hails from Narikkuni in Kozhikode, Kerala.[5][6]


Personal Life

Surabhi is married to Vipin on 24 October 2014 at Guruvayoor temple.[7]
