New Infobox needed

[edit]

This article needs the WikiProject_Military_history Infobox military unit to replace the British Army template. Anyone like to create it?--Lidos (talk) 20:20, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on 105th Regiment Royal Artillery. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).

Name

[edit]

105 Regiment was never known as '(Scottish and Ulster)', they are nicknamed the 'Scottish and Ulster Gunners', but does that mean 3rd Regiment RHA becomes the 3rd (Manchester) Regiment, RHA? No, this is simply a nickname not a title. Yes, the regiment was known as 105th (Scottish) Air Defence Regiment, but it lost this designation in 1993 when 206 (Ulster) Bty joined the regiment.

I thereby call for a name change to 105th Regiment Royal Artillery.. @Dormskirk and @SmartyPants22 feel free to add further..

Based on the references you have offered, that's OK with me. Best wishes. Dormskirk (talk) 22:59, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
