A secret session of 60 Katipunan chieftains is held in Ugong, near the town of Pasig. Among those present are Andres Bonifacio, Emilio Jacinto, Emilio Aguinaldo, Candido Tirona, Nicomedes Carreon, and Dr. Pio Valenzuela.s.[1]
A source is cited to support this assertion, but that source is not available online. However, without having seen that source, I strongly doubt that assertion which was added here along with several others. It is well documented in multiple reliable sources that Emilio Aguinaldo was either in Singapore, in Hong Kong, or enroute from Singapore to Hong Kong on May 1, 1898. It is also well documented that, Andrés Bonifacio was killed in 1897. Possibly the year was mis-read in the cited supporting source. I have removed this assertion and its supporting citation. I am guessing that the source says that the meeting took place in May of 1896, not 1898, but I have not added this assertion into the 1896 in the Philippines article because I have not seen the source.
