Article upkeep[edit]

I'm dedicating myself to the upkeep of this article throughout the rest of the year in an attempt to make it a featured article. By all means feel free to add your own information: just make sure you source any statements that should be sourced. Feel free to add your suggestions as well. The current helmet by each team's name violates Wikipedia's Fair Use Policy for team uniforms. Technically, the image may only be used to identify the team's helmet. However, I'm pretty sure you could use a team's regular logo in its place. -- ShadowJester07 ►Talk 20:39, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Chudzinski/Davidson/Players "Lost"[edit]

The article makes it sound like Davidson left for the Panthers, so the Browns went after Chudzinski. In actuality, Davidson interviewed for the Browns OC job, and lost out to Chudzinski. He then left for the Panthers.

Later on the article mentions players being "lost" to other teams during the offseason. I think it would be more clear to state that player X signed a free agent contract with team Y (Russell I know "tested the waters", and I think the Browns made him an offer, but not starting safety money), or that the Browns opted not to renew the contract of player. He eventually signed with team Y (The Browns made no effort to resign Northcutt for example).--Jonlikesmail 20:18, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV[edit]

I've seen a lot worse (NBA Finals 2007) but I think some of the game descriptions aren't neutral enough. Using phrases like "Rothlisberger marched his team" seems a little un neutral, and using the same adjective doesn't necessarily make it neutral, so I think word choice could be a little better. You are a very good writer, whoever is writing the game descriptions, however it is not quite encyclopedic. It would be quality material for a game journal, which is good, however Wikipedia needs to be neutral, so it needs to be written differently. Very good work though.
