Title[edit]

Since this is a very sensitive topic. I will solicit opinions from other users regarding a more appropriate title for this article. When I created this article it is named "July 2015 Iglesia Ni Cristo expulsions" in an attempt to describe the situation neutrally. However it seems to be slanted to the expulsions itself and not to the alleged detaining of ministers and allegations of corruptions to the church which are also important elements of the event. The media has been careful of labeling the event by avoiding to give a name to the developing issue. Naming the article 2015 Iglesia Ni Cristo kidnappings is clearly NPOV and since there has been denying that kidnapping or detaining has ever happened.

I suggest the following names that may have or not NPOV issues:

  • 2015 Iglesia Ni Cristo controversies
  • 2015 Iglesia Ni Cristo leadership crisis
  • 2015 Iglesia Ni Cristo crisis

I am more inclined to the last title. The media has a similar description of the event to the proposed title. "INC in crisis".Hariboneagle927 (talk) 10:08, 25 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If mainstream news considers it a crisis outside of clickbait style headlines, I would use the second. Otherwise 2015 Iglesia Ni Cristo leadership controversies would work. --wL<speak·check> 20:42, 25 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Was Mr. Menorca really rescued?[edit]

In the section regarding the Net 25 Interviews with supposedly missing ministers it says this in the last paragraph: "In a new video released few days after he rescued from the captives of Sanggunian on October 21, Menorca clarified that everything he said in the interview on Net 25 are all "scripted"." The case is still up in the air and by wording it this way it suggests that wikipedia thinks that he really was illegaly detained, which violates our Neutral POV policy. 2601:601:8000:29A0:3126:C13:9F16:199A (talk) 05:40, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
