[edit]

It's AOA White. AOA refers to all eight members, including Youkyung, and there are only seven girls in the photo. Perhaps a photo from their recent Tigyuk Tagyuk CF shoot? http://static1.allkpop.com/upload/2014/02/content/AoA_1393114317_20140222_aoa_tigtag1.jpg

Also, I've listed Youkyung as being inactive because she's very rarely seen with the group anymore, she hasn't made an appearance onstage with them since October 2013, and she doesn't even appear in the group's official photo book. She hasn't left the group, but she's not promoting with them. Therefore, inactive.23.16.255.231 (talk) 08:13, 17 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Members table.

[edit]

The members table is so much info, but I found that in given reference, there's not info about angel name, AOA Black. Maybe we should format table to a standard table (remove unsourced info). K34c l4m v13c t0t 06:11, 19 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

In given reference, there's only info about stage name, DoB, position. If you don't provide other reliable sources in the next seven days, I will remove unsourced info. K34c l4m v13c t0t 10:05, 20 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Please refer to this.Yrbg2563 (talk) 11:10, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
When I need reliable source, why don't you provide that source? Now, you can edit the members table as you wish.

Chanmi's name

[edit]

Isn't Chanmi's name Park Chanmi instead of Kim Chanmi? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.155.190.60 (talk) 18:35, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There's not a reliable source to support AOA members' birth name , so I don't know her surname is Kim or Park. K34c l4m v13c t0t 02:58, 23 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Removed some awards

[edit]

I removed the non-notable awards like Allkpop and fan-run awards, as per previous consensus. Shinyang-i (talk) 23:08, 20 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This article is mostly tables of chart placements and such. The actual content is minimal and can easily be relocated to the main AOA (band) article as part of the group's history. Per WP:SONGS, most songs should not have their own articles, even if notable; an article should only be created if there has been enough significant discussion in reliable secondary sources to create an article of good length (not counting tables, charts, etc). That clearly isn't the case here, since only 1 reliable secondary source is cited in this article. Shinyang-i (talk) 05:34, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This article is for a low-charting song of very dubious notability. That clearly isn't the case here, since not a single reliable secondary source is cited in this article. Shinyang-i (talk) 05:36, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I think what you're not understanding is that these articles aren't about songs. They are about singles. In America we tend to use song and single interchangeably but this is not correct. A song can be on a single but a single is a format. That's why in Korea they call it a "Single Album" which is a shorter format than an EP which they call a mini-album. So the information on the article should be changed to reflect this. They should be talking about the single album as a whole and not just the title song. RatiziAngeloucontribs 18:24, 1 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
While I agree that the articles need improvements, I don't think we should merge them. Those pages (supposedly) are not about the title track, but the single album. Just like Ratizi wrote, a song and a single is totally different (actually we even have both {{Infobox single}} and {{Infobox song}}). So I believe WP:SONGS doesn't apply on the pages, also on Red Motion, and maybe someday when someone creates MOYA. KIDE777 03:55, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Filmography tables

[edit]

Individual members television/film roles don't belong on the group's page when they have their own pages. Seolhyun and Mina both have articles, so their roles don't belong here. There is no reason to duplicate this information since they have their own pages. Random86 (talk) 08:48, 13 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

An Jung Geun + Music Bank scandals

[edit]

I think some mention of these issues should be made - they were pretty big and many people speculated that they were the reason why their "Good Luck" comeback was cancelled after only two weeks.

Music Bank.

Semi-protected edit request on 27 June 2017

[edit]

please edit about the departure of Choa, she is not on hiatus anymore and left AOA because of mental issues (depression) Lauaoa (talk) 19:12, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: as you have not requested a specific change in the form "Please replace XXX with YYY" or "Please add ZZZ between PPP and QQQ".
More importantly, you have not cited reliable sources to back up your request, without which no information should be added to, or changed in, any article. - Arjayay (talk) 19:17, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The group's status

[edit]

The group is very likely facing the same fate as T-ara. This phase can be described as "suspended group", but as it's not quite yet in that final phase, it's still too early to declare the group as that.

Their agency still hasn't released a statement about this AFAIK, but it's noticeable.

However, it's still just the start of the year and maybe we'll see how this will turn out.

If the agency releases their statement about the group's fate, it can be written here. --CrystallineLeMonde (talk) 12:47, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@CrystallineLeMonde: Maintain status as it's currently till WP:RS is available else it violates WP:CRYSTALBALL. – Paper9oll (📣📝) 12:50, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, until further notice, the current status stays as it is. CrystallineLeMonde (talk) 12:52, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Remove Jimin's bullying allegations

[edit]

2020–present: Bullying scandal allegations, Jimin's retirement from industry. The linked article says nothing about bullying or retirement. Apparently, Wikipedia editors are speculating with the social music press and making up news. Who objects to we remove derogatory accusations and statements of living persons? dmode (talk) 10:47, 4 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
