Requested move

[edit]

AVALANCHE currently redirects to this article. Why? Why isn't this article at its correct home? Other articles follow this pattern, so should this. — cuaHL 19:16, 28 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It should be moved, and this article should redirect to AVALANCHE until all articles pointing here are fixed. Spencer 19:26, 28 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cait Sith?

[edit]

Why does the link for Cait Sith redirect to his Celtic orgins and not the character himself? Anyone on a page about AVALANCHE and finds a link to a character would not be wanting the link to the orgin of the name or word and instead want the character himself. But instead of just changing the link myself I want to make sure this wasn't something I did not know about. So any reason it is like the way it is, anyone opposed to moving it to the character? J-Axe

It's quite simple to DAB the link yourself, you know...—ウルタプ 05:10, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AVALANCHE members

[edit]

Note that the only known AVALANCHE members in FFVII (ie., those specifically indicated as part of the group) are Barret, Tifa, Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie. One can only assume that Marlene is much too young to be considered a member. Cloud is hired as a mercenery assistant for two missions, but it's never made clear if this means he is considered a full member. (The second mission, of course, goes horribly wrong but fortuitously results in his meeting Aerith, without which the planet would never have been saved.) The deaths of Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie reduce the roll call to two known and one possible. Later, in Cosmo Canyon, Barret declares that AVALANCHE is "born again", but it is not certain whether this means all party members should be considered members of this third AVALANCHE or not.

So, from a very loose interpretation, every main party member as well as Reeve might be considered AVALANCHE members; or, from a very strict interpretation, taken only from what we are specifically told, the only surviving members of AVALANCHE are Barret and Tifa.
