I think there should be expansion on the plot section, as it seems to be going somewhere but just stops. Abruptly. Arkracer

I've expanded it... quite a lot. Maybe too much. Sorry, writing concisely was never an ability of mine. I don't like the idea of compressing a great 400 page novel down into a few paragraphs. Battle Ape 10:26, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Philip Reeve wins the Guardian children's fiction prize"[edit]

Could someone add this fact to the article? (ref http://books.guardian.co.uk/childrensfictionprize2006/story/0,,1883363,00.html) Thanks, —Sam Wilson (Australia) 05:45, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Done (though you could have been bold and done it yourself). I also added it to the Guardian Award page. Battle Ape 10:23, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Messy top section"[edit]

The top section is very messy. James P Twomey 20:50, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Grike"[edit]

For the last time: his name is SHRIKE, not Grike. Grike is only his name in the North American versions, and since they're British books, we stick to British covnentions. STOP CHANGING IT. Battle Ape 03:25, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Darkling Plain.JPG[edit]

Image:Darkling Plain.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
