Discrepancy between Sunshine and Genjitsu no Yohane names.[edit]

Hello, new Wikipedian here! I've gone ahead and changed all the Genjitsu no Yohane names for all the Aqours VAs to omit their Sunshine last names since both the currently linked source and some primary sources (e.g. yohane.net, the official Genjitsu no Yohane twitter account) do so. Indeed, the primary sources (in JP of course) go a step further and highlight the distinction by consistently spelling out the names in katakana (without the last name) instead of using their kanji names.

While I understand the view that we do not know what their full names in the aforementioned anime truly are until it airs (e.g. it could be Yohane's dream within the Sunshine world, or it could be an entirely new setting that only shares names/characters with Sunshine and has no continuity with it whatsoever), I believe that dropping the last names is more faithful to the primary and secondary sources that we do currently have.

@Sonic Phoenix: As per the above logic, I feel it is better to use a different character name in this Wikipedia article for Genjitsu no Yohane precisely to highlight the distinction that the sources intentionally make between their Genjitsu no Yohane and Sunshine iterations. @Sonic Phoenix: I have twice asked the aforementioned user to discuss this matter, but have yet to receive a response. For now, I'm going to revert to the version with the change described above. The user is nevertheless still welcome to discuss the issue here, being reminded that another reversion without discussion would constitute a case of disruptive editing which could be filed at ANI.— TheLostCookie (talk) 16:01, 10 May 2023 (UTC).[reply]
