Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because...This person is a regular columnist in newspaper Mumbai Mirror, Political analyst with The Times of India, writes in The Economic Times, so I thought he is important enough to have WikiPage--Vigyani (talk) 10:10, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I can improve this article slowly..--Vigyani (talk) 10:11, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. I'm going to decline the speedy delete, but I'm going to propose it for deletion instead. Do not remove the PROD notice until you have provided sources for your above claims and demonstrated the subject's significance. You'll have seven days to make the improvements. If you do not, then I will come back and delete the article. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me at my talk page. Regards Basalisk inspect damageberate 11:25, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. seven days is good enough..--Vigyani (talk) 11:29, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have expanded this article as much as I could. I think it will be difficult for me to expand it more. So a decision about keep/delete can be taken.--Vigyani (talk) 16:22, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
He is an important political activist and co founder of ADR India. We could have a separate section describing his political activism. I will try to improve this article as much as possible. GreenOrca (talk) 16:25, 8 October 2013 (UTC).[reply]
