Petersen, 2005, p. 131 writes that this place has a Christian majority of 91 Christian families..versus 71 Muslim families. This most be a typo, Hütteroth and Abdulfattah, (who Petersen base his info on), clearly writes on p. 151 for Sawafir al-Halil: 8)71 9)41 11)112: that is: 71 Muslim families, 41 Christian families, a total of 112 families/(or tax-payers).
