Joe Satriani connection[edit]

This musican must be linked to Joe Satriani http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Satriani

Joe Satriani was his teacher which is a very important fact.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra[edit]

He's also a touring member of TSO. Mzmadmike (talk) 20:03, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

This article is very weak on references... the only well-cited statement is one line in the trivia section!! 65.112.197.16 (talk) 01:00, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I don't see how getting a few votes in a contest where the guitarists were pre-selected makes him "one of the greatest guitarists of all time" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Diksta (talkcontribs) 23:21, 7 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This need updated.[edit]

He's also back in Testament, recording and touring. I believe they recently release their second album since reforming. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.255.143.171 (talk) 00:35, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merger[edit]

I propose that Alex Skolnick Trio be merged with this article. The content of the trio article is paltry. It is more like a discography page or an album page. On a biography article there should not be albums with songs listed. The trio isn't independently notable, and merging the articles will make it easier for readers to find information.
