The German scholar R. Bolnach has written a thorough form-analysis for the Sciarra/Polycletus and Sosikles/Kresilas pairings.
This has two issues:
There is no reference as to which study this line refers to, and where that study was published.
A scholar named "Bolnach" is not known, neither to me, nor to Google (searching for "Bolnach" and "Amazone").
For issue #2, I guess the solution will be Renate Bol, who did publish a paper on the Polyklet Amazon in a 1990 exhibition catalogue. But is that the one that the writer of the present article had in mind? -- Martinus KE (talk) 15:28, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
